I'm Batzorig Vaanchig, a Mongolian throat singer, traditional musician, and teacher from Mongolia. Through my music and performances, I've had the opportunity to share the unique sounds of Mongolian musical traditions with audiences around the world.
My musical practice is deeply rooted in Mongolia's cultural heritage, particularly throat singing, the morin khuur and the tovshuur. I'm passionate about preserving these traditions and passing their knowledge on to future generations.
Through my lessons, I teach throat singing and morin khuur, introducing students to the techniques, musical expressions, and cultural traditions behind these art forms. I enjoy working with both complete beginners and experienced musicians, adapting my teaching to each student's interests and abilities.
My aim is to help students develop their musical skills while discovering the rich cultural heritage and unique musical expression of Mongolia.
